I made an experimental apparatus to simulate the cavitation in synovial fluid in human joints as requested by DDD company.
This research project involved the comparison of the mechanical behaviour of a preliminary in vitro synovial joint model to previously published in-vivo data, for the purposes of developing an accurate in vitro synovial joint model.
The results have been utilized to enhanced knowledge of materials and techniques used in creating anatomically correct synovial joint models.
